AI Visibility Journal wants everyone to be able to read our journalism and use our data.

Our target. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do:

  • use sufficient color contrast, and never rely on color alone to convey meaning in charts;
  • provide text alternatives for charts and images, and the underlying data as tables or downloadable files;
  • support full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators, including the site menu, which can be closed with the Escape key;
  • avoid horizontal scrolling on small screens; wide tables scroll inside their own labeled area;
  • use clear headings, labels and plain language;
  • caption videos and provide transcripts for audio, when we publish them;
  • check new templates with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader tests.

Known limitations. The site is new, and we are still testing it. In particular:

  • full screen-reader testing of every page template is still in progress;
  • some wide data tables scroll sideways on small screens, inside their own labeled area;
  • charts published with our research will include a text summary and the underlying data; if a chart cannot be made fully accessible, we provide the same information as a table or download.

Feedback. If you have difficulty using any part of this site, email [email protected] with the page address and the problem. We aim to respond within three business days and to provide the information in an accessible format.
